Convert copy protected files

Audials One re-records copy-protected media files and converts them to unprotected file formats.

Important: You need to be able to play back copy-protected files in order to have Audials One convert them by re-recording.

Please make sure that you have sufficient rights to play the files with your playback software before you continue. Remember to check your music service subscriptions, too.

To remove copy protection from your files

  1. Switch to the Converter view.
  2. Click Files > Add files....
  3. Choose the files to convert.
  4. Click Open. The files appear on the list in the Converter view.
  5. If you want to change the target format, click the menu button with the name of the current conversion setting in the processing window.
  6. Click Start to start the converting process.
    Note: For best results, do not perform other tasks during the encoding process, which increase the processor workload.

All converted files move from the input list to the Player.
