Importing from and exporting to devices
Audials One offers import and export functionality to copy music and video files from your PC to external devices, such as mobile gadgets or online storages, and vice versa. This helps you in accessing your media files anytime, anywhere.

Burning CDs and DVDs
Audials One can burn your media files to audio CDs as well as data CDs/DVDs containing media files in their original format (e.g. MP3 CDs). -

Audials One can create ringtones from MP3 songs for your mobile phone.
Exporting media files can be done within the Player as well as within the Media center view. The Player offers basic export functionality. The Media center view offers more flexibility regarding the import and export of sets of files at once.
Importing media files can only be done within the Media center view.
Working with devices
The most important device involved in importing/exporting features is your computer. All files recorded and converted by Audials One, plus additional folders selected to be managed by Audials One, are handled as content on My PC.
All sorts of external devices, gadgets, software and online service are summarized by the term target device.
Exporting means to transfer files from your PC to a chosen target device. This includes e.g. creating ringtones, copying files to a USB device, burning CDs/DVDs, and more.
Importing means to copy files from a target device to your PC.
See Figure 1 to realize how this concept is visualized.
Import/Export User Interface
The import/export user interface is visible in every Media center view. The most significant buttons are: the My Computer button and Target Device button. In addition to these two buttons, a drop-down menu may be opened. (see Figure 1).
The dual function of the device buttons:
- The My Computer button is also the button used to import files.
- The Target Device button is also the button used to export files.
- White: titles that are only on your PC.
- Blue: titles that are only on your target device.
- Light blue: titles that are on both your PC and target device.

Example: Importing a media file
Choose an artist. Select the file you want to import. Click the My PC button to import the selected file. The song is now saved on your computer and appears here.
