Radiotracker 8 by audials continues a long commitment to an easy-to-use piece of software that is powerful yet functional. Radiotracker will allow you to listen, record, and schedule recordings of Internet radio streams by genre and by specific station.
Radiotracker 8 is both a recorder and player so you can do everything you need within this one application. You can even use it to convert several popular audio and video file types. Radiotracker also burns CDs and DVDs, creates ringtones, automatically generates "wishlists" based on genre (then optionally searches and records), automatically records multiple stations, and organizes your media collection.

The Radiotracker database includes over 56,000 Internet radio stations, streams, and audio sources you can pick from. The database displays the station name, country, format (MP3, WMA, etc.) bitrate, and more.

You can listen to or record specific stations or let Radiotracker create a playlist of recordings based on genre. The program will even trim deejay chatter and other extraneous elements from the fronts and backs of songs.

Radiotracker 8 will let you search for and download or subscribe to podcasts, both audio and video. The database includes over 35,000 podcasts which searched either by audio, video, or both. Your search is further delineated by genres. Click on a directory entry and most everything you want to know about the podcast is displayed. Right click to subscribe and the program does the rest of the work.

Audials Radiotracker 8 has a decent built-in database of help, though the application is so intuitive, you may only need it occasionally. The more advanced users, there are a host of options that can be tweaked to make the program's experience even more personal.

In the end, Radiotracker 8 is probably more program than most people will need, but certainly enough program to get anything you want done when it comes to recording or listening to Internet radio and podcasts. It's been one of the best solutions for Internet audio for years"
